Abstract
Results are presented on single-pion production by the weak neutral current observed in low-energy neutrino reactions in deuterium. Cross sections are given for the three exclusive neutral-current final states νpπ−, νpπ0, and νnπ+ relative to the charged-current final state μ−pπ+. The results agree well with models for weak one-pion production which incorporate the Weinberg-Salam structure of the neutral current.
